Pre-Litigation Adjuster / Attorney The candidate will review first and third party pre litigation and litigation automobile claims for coverage and settlement. Negotiate favorable resolutions with law firms and individuals, respond to demand letters, and generate evaluations on assigned cases. Research and analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation such as insurance policies, lien language, settlement releases, laws, regulations, etc. Collaborate with internal clients, departments, and outside counsel on assigned matters to protect and mitigate risk to the Company. Contribute to the development of internal policies, guidelines, toolkits, and job aids to mitigate risk. Work in partnership with managers and supervisors within the Claim Department. Maintain an effective and organized operation. Other duties as assigned. Juris Doctorate is required. Should have 2+ years of work experience. Member in good standing of the Bar Association is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed. Experience negotiating either professionally or personally is required. Proficiency with technology is needed. A responsible, conscientious nature and the ability to fast-track claims are essential. Should have the ability to learn and develop expertise in insurance coverages and policy contracts. Good problem-solving aptitude is needed. Attention to detail and excellent quality of work are needed.
