Corporate Counsel Duties: Identify and analyze legal issues and contracts. Provide legal counsel in support of tactical and strategic business initiatives. Provide legal and regulatory advice to assigned business areas. Structure, draft, review, and execute key documents. Represent legal interest of Company. Manage outside legal counsel and determine cost-effectiveness. Remain current of state and federal laws and regulations, as well as current cases. Review business plans, policies, and practices to ensure legal and ethical compliance.

Qualifications:L Bachelor's degree and successful graduation from an accredited law school is required. State Bar membership, for state-employed in, is required. Should have 3-5 years of relevant experience is required. Must understand the functional interaction of all departments. Complete understanding of legal principles, concepts, practices, and standards. The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and external contacts, while maintaining confidentiality in all related discussions. The ability to work well under constantly changing deadlines and priorities.
