Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel Duties: Reviewing, preparing and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial agreements primarily focusing on sales support, but also handling procurement, professional services, services providers, event providers and other business partners. Guiding decision-makers by assessing risks associated with various licensing models, product designs and business practices. Strategizing with multiple teams on developing areas of law such as privacy compliance, data management, and IP ownership. Developing and supporting process improvement initiatives to deliver more efficient and effective contract and legal support. Supporting general corporate, compliance, privacy, litigation and special projects as needed.

Qualifications: Should have 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an in-house legal department. Solid contracts review, drafting and negotiation skills and very high attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills and can interact comfortably with executives and senior management as well as colleagues. Strong analytical skills and ability to balance business needs with legal risks and to partner with business functions to provide sound contract advice and ability to achieve corporate objectives. Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones to support global operations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within a fiscal-quarter cadence. SaaS experience is preferred with an understanding of current privacy regulations. A strong individual contributor that thrives in a fast paced environment balancing multiple priorities while performing high quality legal work. Prizes collaboration and builds rapport with internal business partners.
