Director, Global Corporate Counsel Responsibilities: Partner closely with Sales and Account Management teams in drafting and negotiating optimal terms and conditions for all customer contracts and legal/contractual compliance issues pertaining to ongoing activities. Partner closely with all teams (particularly Finance and Strategic Sourcing) in drafting and negotiating optimal terms and conditions for vendor and 3d party contracts as requested and supporting ongoing relationships with key parties. Identify legal risks across all business lines and products and collaborate with team members to develop plans to mitigate such risks. Lead the internal regulatory and corporate compliance programs and initiatives. Support relevant stakeholders on Secretarial and corporate governance matters (e.g., formation, structure, administration of legal entities, Board related documentation). Provide legal advice and counsel on's financing initiatives, including securitizations, corporate finance, partnerships, and contracts. Manage IP activities in partnership with Tech team(s). Manage the selection, retention, management, and budget of all outside counsel relationships. As assigned, support new and unique business initiatives, strategic transactions, and alliances.

Qualifications: JD required. Should have 10+ years ? experience, including experience with the major law firms. Commercial contract drafting and negotiating experience is essential. Strong analytical capabilities and sound judgment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to completion; strong attention to detail, creative and resourceful. Ability to demonstrate a practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving; ability to effectively counsel clients with clear, concise, and creative solutions where necessary, on established timelines. Ability to work proactively and reliably within tight timeframes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Preferred Qualifications: Corporate law/corporate governance experience highly preferred. Experience working in a high-growth global company: experience working with Chinese customers/vendors is highly preferred. Ability to assess and manage big picture of corporation's legal risks and obligations.
