Senior Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal, AWS Legal - Health and Safety Duties: Counseling AWS on a broad range of regulatory compliance matters relevant to our data center infrastructure and operations, including health & safety, environmental, trade, and products. As part of this team, provide occupational health and safety legal advice to the AWS HS teams as AWS continues to scale into related, but novel worksites that go beyond traditional data centers. Collaborate with other lawyers around the globe to support continuous improvements to the global compliance program as well as crafting the compliance approach to pioneering business initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS: Strong academic credentials including a J.D. degree and membership in at least one State Bar are required. Should have 10+ years of post-qualification legal experience, with substantial experience in providing occupational health and safety advice. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A mix of law firm and in-house experience. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Ability to influence with or without formal authority.
