Corporate Counsel Duties: Providing hands-on, proactive and practical legal advice on a wide range of strategic initiatives, from inception to execution. Dealing with multiple stakeholders, reconciling competing needs and managing through complexity to drive change in a responsible, ethical and efficient manner for the benefit of Autodesk customers worldwide. Reporting to Director and Senior Corporate Counsel.

Qualifications: Law Degree from a recognized University, with good academic credentials. Should have 8 years of in-house experience at a technology company with global reach or related experience at a law firm. Experience in privacy and data security issues and compliance (CIPP certification a plus). Strong organizational skills and ability to be flexible and self-directed in a fast-paced environment with limited direction. Exceptional judgment and creativity, with the ability to think strategically and give practical advice appropriately weighing legal and business objectives. Sound legal and business judgment and strong analytical skills. Ability to handle change and ambiguity. Preferred Qualifications: Strong drafting and negotiation skills across a wide range of commercial, IP, technology and professional services related engagements. Familiarity with the power of data, and know how to balance business benefits against legal risks. Customer centric mindset as a result of partnering with Sales, Product Support or Professional Services teams in a multi-national software company. Ceative problem solver, with a proven track record in the areas of commercial law, intellectual property, data security, privacy, competition law and compliance (legal and regulatory).
