Senior Principal Corporate Counsel The candidate will resolve asset/property management matters in assigned geographical region, including, negotiating a resolution of landlord-tenant disputes; processing ownership changes and tenant name changes; and overseeing ground owner foreclosures, tower relocations, access and easement relocations, tenant and ground owner bankruptcies, property condemnation and tax matters. Oversee office leases for all SBA satellite office locations, including, but not limited to, drafting and negotiating new office leases and amendments to existing office leases and resolving disputes with 3rd parties, including landlords, for satellite offices in the US; overseeing financial obligations for US and international satellite office leases and working with various company departments to ensure lease compliance; tracking key dates for US and international satellite office leases, communicating same to management and other internal stakeholders, and implementing management's decisions. Oversee litigation matters involving tower sites in assigned geographical region, as well as tenant collection litigation matters nationwide. Review and analyze ground leases, easements, tenant leases, surveys, title reports and contracts. Prepare, review, and negotiate various other contracts and agreements. Other projects and duties as assigned. Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Empower team members to take ownership of their job and goals. Delegate responsibilities as needed and provide routine constructive feedback on performance. Lead team members using a performance management and development focused approach to assist in goal setting, two-way feedback, and performance development planning. Lead team members to meet the organization's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.

The candidate should have a Master's Degree; Juris Doctorate required. Should have 6+ years of experience in real estate transactions and/or real estate litigation including, landlord-tenant relations, development, and construction required. Bar Admission to at least one state required or ability to be Florida in house counsel if admitted to the Bar in another state. Wireless industry experience strong preferred. Real estate litigation experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of finance and general corporate matters strong preferred.
