Compliance Counsel

Compliance Counsel The candidate will be creating and managing internal policies, standard templates, and training programs for distribution to large, diverse business organizations. Coordinating with audit teams to review compliance, remediate, and improve practices. Assisting regulatory teams in advocating positions that advance company's interest before federal and state regulators. Providing advice to clients regarding proposed transactions and strategic initiatives, including supporting other organizations, such as finance and litigation. Exercising cross-departmental leadership and excellent interpersonal skills for the purpose for building trusted relationships. Should have a J.D. degree and six or more years of relevant work experience. Bar membership in good standing in at least one state. Compliance law experience, particularly with FCC and FTC regulations. Willingness to travel. Ability to operate with a significant level of independence. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and process a large volume of work in a timely manner with attention to detail. Outstanding writing, editing, and oral communication skills, adaptive to and effective for different audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships within an organization.
