Senior Counsel of Business & Legal Affairs (Corporate) The candidate will be providing legal support for transactional matters, including M&A, joint ventures, investments, commercial agreements, leases and other facilities-related transactions. Providing legal support for general corporate matters, including operations, communications and public relations, investor relations, compliance, insurance and risk management. Negotiating and finalizing a range of contracts, including forms and non-standard contract provisions. Liaising with and providing legal support for internal business partners and teams, including corporate development, accounting, finance, corporate communications and public relations, treasury, tax, human resources, investor relations, and facilities. Managing relationships with key external lawyers and service providers. A JD degree with excellent academic credentials and bar membership. Should have 5+ years of sophisticated M&A/general corporate practice (experience at a reputable law firm required; prior in-house experience preferred, but not required). Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across functions and teams to support dynamic business objectives. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilizing effective organizational skills to prioritize and manage deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects. High ethical standards and integrity and sound judgment. Ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form. Willingness to assume increasing responsibility and roll up sleeves (no job too big, no job too small).
