Senior Counsel - Investment Banking - Vice President Responsibilities: Negotiation of International Swaps and Derivatives (ISDA) master agreements, Repo Agreements, eCommerce agreements, FX agreements, Confirmations, and other documentation as required. Responsible for netting and credit risk mitigation analysis for certain derivatives and repo products. Legal point of contact for regulatory exams, regulatory change projects, industry associations, and governance forums. Identify and effectively escalate potential or emerging legal or regulatory risks. Identify and analyze complex legal issues to conclusions and provide advice, both orally and in writing, and recommendations to stakeholders on those issues. Manage external counsel engagements.

Qualifications: Law degree and qualified and registered as an attorney in New York. Extensive on-point experience at a law firm, Bank, Investment Adviser and/or broker-dealer. Knowledge of Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act and ISDA documentation and Repo documentation. Proactive and motivated with the ability to prioritize work and meet time-sensitive deadlines while coordinating and working effectively with clients, business, junior and senior department members, other control functions, and external counsel. Ability to identify and appropriately weigh risk and reputational and commercial issues in solving sophisticated legal problems.
