Associate Corporate Counsel, Legal Devices DUTIES: Identifying legal risks and proposing mitigation strategies. Advising on regulatory and compliance matters, privacy, and go-to-market strategy. Providing day-to-day input on business strategy. Structuring, drafting and negotiating agreements, managing outside counsel, and advising business clients on critical issues relating to commercial matters of varying levels of complexity. Analyzing and contributing to policy

QUALIFICATIONS: Juris Doctor (J.D.) and admitted to at least one state bar (or equivalent). Should have 3+ years of sophisticated legal experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience focused on issues related to privacy, new technologies, machine learning. Experience structuring, drafting and negotiating technology-related agreements and commercial agreements. Experience supporting business development teams. Experience with a technology company is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines. Sound and practical business judgment, common sense, and a good sense of humor. A team player who works cross-functionally and with a variety of stakeholders (including paralegals, other lawyers, and engineers) cooperatively and efficiently. Ability to manage and exercise sound judgment in mission-critical projects, working independently and often in ambiguous situations.
