Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel The candidate will be responsible for supporting firm's worldwide data center expansion through land acquisitions and leasing. Will have transactional drafting and negotiating responsibilities on deals, and will provide legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members on a daily basis. Transactions range from standard contracts to complex, bespoke, high value agreements. You will structure, draft and negotiate agreements, help support firms real estate's existing portfolio, manage outside counsel, and advise internal business clients. In addition, help develop, implement, and manage process improvements across the team, resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree (or equivalent) and membership in good standing in at least one State Bar. Must have 6+ years of legal experience as a transactional real estate attorney (with 3+ full years at a law firm). Experience drafting and negotiating a variety of real estate transactional documents (i.e. leases, lease amendments, purchase and sale agreements, easements, etc.) is required. Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team is a plus. Strong organizational and project management skills is preferred. Strong analytical, written and oral communication, and client interaction skills plus.
