Product Compliance Attorney Duties: Track and analyze developments in leave of absence, disability, pregnancy, and accommodation laws, state and federal. Develop internal procedures, training, and communications about leave and accommodation compliance developments. Develop external/client/broker communications about compliance developments & best practices (blog, specific client issues, etc.). Follow state paid family and medical leave law developments and assist with the development of internal and external materials. Respond to internal questions about challenging leave, disability, and accommodation claims. Develop and/or update internal materials (forms, letters, training). Develop and/or update external materials (forms, letters, training). Develop and deliver internal training. Prepare and deliver presentations for industry, clients, brokers, internal training. Share duties to respond to subpoenas and records requests in connection with legal and/or agency matters.

Qualifications: J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Bar license in good standing in at least one state. Should have 5+ years of legal experience. Experience with FMLA, ADA, and/or disability claim management. Experience with litigation and/or subpoena responses a plus. Excellent writing skills in a variety of contexts. Ability to communicate effectively regarding compliance issues with various levels of personnel and types of constituents (e.g., Matrix staff members, senior management, clients). Ability to lead (or learn to lead) complex projects with legal implications with a variety of constituents.
