Corporate Attorney The candidate will draft and negotiate contracts, including license agreements, CDAs, MTAs, and various academic and vendor service agreements. Assist with other legal issues, including those related to corporate governance, financing, real estate, and employee matters. Provide proactive and readily-accessible legal advice and support to various groups. Support alliance management activities and governance of programs. Partner collaboratively with other lawyers as well as colleagues throughout the company to provide the most efficient and effective legal support. Should have a JD from an accredited law school, active membership in at least one state bar, and 2-5 years in a law firm doing transactional work. Prior experience with collaboration, licensing, or acquisition agreements in the biotechnology industry is a strong plus. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the company and successfully build relationships, think creatively, evaluate and manage risk, devise business-focused solutions to challenging problems, and drive issues to closure. Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and communications skills are required. Comfortable and productive in a fast-paced environment of ambiguity and change. Detail-oriented and well organized. Strong time-management skills and ability to multitask. Positive attitude and source of energy to others.
