Wealth Management Securities / Equity Compensation Attorney, Vice President Responsibilities: Partner with business, compliance, and risk organizations to support share plan administration, financial wellness, and executive financial services solutions. Provide support to marketing and education teams on advertising, knowledge, and event materials. Work with cross-functional teams to review, draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including technology licensing, brokerage services, consulting, strategic partnership, and other business agreements. Efficiently manage multiple projects involving product development, novel services, and solutions, with competing deadlines and priorities. Provide an ongoing legal resource to sales, relationship management, financial advisors, and product and technology team members to support successful achievement of business goals within the risk and control framework set by senior management.

Required Qualifications: Undergraduate degree from a 4-year institution. J.D. from a highly respected law school, with superior academic credentials. Member in good standing of a State Bar. 8+ years of experience in a corporate/transactional practice, with a focus in financial services (securities/brokerage) and technology; law firm experience in financial services/fintech space and/or in-house experience with financial services and/or technology firm. Knowledge of laws relating to equity compensation and associated securities offerings, as well as federal securities laws, FINRA rules, data privacy laws, and SAAS and Cloud technology offerings. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working directly with sales and relationship management teams from deal inception to execution through direct negotiation with counterparties business and legal representatives. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with special emphasis on excellent drafting, negotiation skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong initiative, and hard-working; ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work alone and as part of a collaborative team with internal business partners and external clients. Note: Following the first 6 months of in-office employment in good standing, the role will require in-office attendance 3 days per week.
