Senior Corporate Counsel, Payments The candidate will lead complex commercial business payment contracts, including on a cross-border basis and ensuring that appropriate legal advice is taken into account before assumes obligations. Develop scalable solutions and agreements used to commercialize the Business Platform global business. Should also be comfortable working and engaging with external counsel across jurisdictions and have legal project management skills. Work with the global legal and compliance functions to help assess and develop solutions in response to commercial counter-party requirements and regulatory developments. A JD and admitted to at least one US State Bar. Should have 6+ years of legal experience with a firm or in-house. Experience supporting growing business-to-business product and sales teams. Experience negotiating partnership agreements in regulated industries. Experience with technology transactions, including technology licensing matters. In-house experience at financial services, payments or technology company, or law firm experience with a top FinTech legal practice, is strongly preferred.
