Senior Corporate Counsel - Commercial and Technology Transactions The candidate will demonstrate a high degree of expertise, competence, judgment, maturity, and productivity in independently handling significant matters. Provide proactive, constructive, and creative business-oriented advice that promotes the company's business and strategic initiatives while appropriately balancing legal risks with the company's strategic goals. Administration and resolution of legal issues and contract interpretation matters that arise in existing commercial relationships. Draft, negotiate and structure procurement, marketing, sponsorship, and technology agreements. Manage outside counsel consistent with company guidelines and policies. Provide legal and strategic business advice to help develop a comprehensive, long-term approach to our relationships with business partners. Work with members of the Commercial Transactions and IP Team to improve legal forms, processes and procedures. Should have a Juris Doctorate and bar admission. Should have 8+ years of relevant legal experience; additional business experience or in-house legal experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of legal work product. Possesses excellent and persuasive writing skills. Ability to provide thought leadership on strategic matters as well as execute tactical operational details. Ability to work quickly and competently to prioritize, manage, and multi-task in a fast pace working environment. Demonstrate Core Values of integrity, respect, and perseverance. Experience with commercial transactions involving the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft, aircraft engines and aircraft components, as well as negotiating contracts for airline procurement and sales functions, is desirable.
