Senior Corporate Counsel, Go-to-Market Legal Strategy & Integration The candidate will contribute to the continuous buildout and improvement of the GTM Legal M&A integration program related to revenue-generating acquisitions of companies, whose products Workday wants to continue selling to immediately. Will cross-functionally partner with integration management office, product & technology, sales systems, finance, and other verticals within the legal department on mapping of acquired technology products to Workday GTM sales motions and contracts. Advise integration management office, program management, finance, sales, revenue operations, sales strategy, and business technology teams on contracting, GTM and GTM systems integration. Help define and enable GTM transition and renewal contracting strategy for acquired companies existing customer base. Assist with due diligence investigation on the target company's customer-facing contracts. Assist with defining and enabling interim and end-state operating models for contract strategy and negotiation. Assist with other global GTM legal strategic initiatives. Assist with drafting and negotiating technology contracts and advising GTM sales teams on deal strategy.

The candidate should have J.D. Degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least 1 state bar. Must have 4+ years of in-house legal department work experience with a technology company (preferably cloud). 4+ years of experience with drafting and negotiating enterprise-wide technology contracts is required. 2+ years of strategic M&A transaction and integration experience preferred. Experience negotiating and drafting complex enterprise SaaS technology transactions preferred.
