Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel The candidate will provide creative and proactive counseling on a broad range of complex legal, business and policy issues for engineering and business clients. Act as primary counsel on issues that raise novel artificial intelligence, data use and IP concerns. Draft and negotiate a variety of legal agreements in coordination with business development and engineering teams, including cloud and software development, licensing and collaboration agreements. Partner with engineering and other legal department colleagues and specialists to develop and implement policies and best practices to support product development. Build strong client relationships and become a trusted advisor to the business. Drive process improvements, as necessary. Be a great teammate! We work best when we collaborate. A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and an active license to practice law. Should have 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney. Outstanding academic credentials, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Experience working with engineering teams, or with product development, IP licensing, privacy or artificial intelligence, is a plus. Collaborates well with colleagues and is effective in managing ambiguous projects across organizational boundaries to drive results.
