Job Title: Associate Director, Corporate Counsel - Regulatory & Commercial Experience: 3-7 years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house, including biotech/pharmaceutical and/or health care experience Regeneron is looking for an Associate Director, Corporate Counsel - Regulatory & Commercial to join their team. This position will provide legal support to the commercial, medical, patient advocacy, social impact, and compliance teams, as well as support for one of Regeneron's ophthalmology products. Responsibilities: Conduct review of external funding requests and participate in review committee meetings Provide product support counseling for one of Regeneron's ophthalmology products Advise and draft guidance related to questions from business stakeholders Draft agreements related to sponsorship, charitable donation and collaboration agreements Liaise with external counsel and other cross-functional colleagues such as product attorneys, compliance, internal investigations and compliance monitoring Develop and support implementation of improvements to funding policies and procedures Review and approve needs assessments of proposed engagements with healthcare professionals Assist with a broad range of healthcare regulatory matters including client training and compliance policy review Keep abreast of healthcare fraud and abuse and FDA enforcement trends Qualifications: JD with excellent law school credentials Licensed to practice law in New York or be eligible for licensure as a registered in-house counsel 3-7 years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house, including biotech/pharmaceutical and/or health care experience Outstanding interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Ability to work well independently, meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple matters Exceptional oral and written communication skills Ability to maintain an independent and objective perspective while developing and maintaining a strong partnership with client organizations and protecting Regeneron's interests Ability to work effectively and expertly with colleagues and clients in a collaborative environment Ability to collaborate and advise key stakeholders, including senior management, on contracts group policies and procedures Solid understanding of commercialization, contracts and related law within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry Salary: Regeneron offers a competitive salary range for this position of $165,900.00 - $270,700.00 annually.
