Dallas TX Senior Director - Federal Tax Services Responsibilities: Will keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law; oversee complex tax research projects for clients in diverse industries; build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business; conduct research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions; supervise assignments of professional accountants serving as Associates, Senior Associates and Directors; develop and motivate staff members by providing leadership, counseling and career guidance through mentoring and performance feedback; demonstrate extensive technical experience and a developed reputation in a given industry/service line; assist with new business development, including add-on business; and attain visibility/recognition in the local Federal Corporate Tax Services community.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other business related field; Proven, excellent interaction skills with management / significant executive presence; CPA, Enrolled Agent or other appropriate certification required. Advanced degree preferred: MST, MAcc, J.D. or LL.M. degree. 8+ years of public accounting experience or equivalent gained working in law firms or industry. Prior Big Four experience is a plus. Working experience with FAS 109 and FIN 48 is a plus. Excellent research and writing skills. Willingness to travel may be required.
