Senior Trust Officer Responsibilities: Will serve as relationship manager and fiduciary advisor to provide trust administration and estate planning for client relationships typically with more than $1MM in investable assets. Support a portfolio asset base of $218,750,000 -$343,750,000. Balance the interests of, and as Trustee, administers the trust in good faith in accordance with the terms and purposes of the trust instrument, while balancing the interests of the trust beneficiaries. Acts impartially in investing, managing and distributing the trust property, and giving due regard to the beneficiaries' respective interests. Prospects for clients by sourcing and building own pipeline of clients / opportunities. Earns referrals from clients, internal business partners, and Center of Influence (COI). Identifies opportunities and partners with the WMA, internal business partners, and COI's in the sales process to maximize new business opportunities. Participates in the Life360 Process to identify and implement appropriate products, services, and cross-selling opportunities. Demonstrates highly developed sales, client contact, and relationship management skills including the development of targeted business plans. Achieves annual sales goal of $000. Generates annual revenue of $1,825,000. Coordinates fiduciary trust administration and estate planning for approximately 100 client relationships. Prepares, develops, and facilitates the delivery of complex trusts as Trustee, as an Agent for individuals, or as Trustee and Custodian. Keeps abreast of current trends and changes in the industry with regard to fiduciary practices (e. g. probate, tax, estate, guardianship, etc). Prepares, develops, and facilitates the delivery of complex trust in various roles (e. g. successor trustee, agent for individual or trustee, custodial trustee). Balances current risk of fiduciary decision making with business risk to Bank (e. g. beneficiary vs. subsequent plan beneficiary, preservation of principal, interest of current and remainder beneficiaries, distributions, asset allocation, etc). Provides legacy planning. Identifies, assembles, and collaborates with a customized team of experts to deliver high-quality client services. Coordinates and collaborates with client COI (e. g. attorney, accountant). Partners and leverages internal and external service providers to optimize effectiveness and efficiency in achieving service standards. As a primary fiduciary contact resolves problems for client issues. Challenges and collaborates with the client to articulate and achieve goals. Utilizes and ensures prospect/client information is appropriately entered, updated, and managed in CRM tracking system. Completes annual administrative reviews. Ensures compliance and proper documentation requirements are met for complying with internal fiduciary policies and procedures regarding business acceptance, discretionary actions, and all other bank policies and guidelines. Works closely with Trust Accountant to ensure proper tax reporting.

Qualifications : A BS/BA degree or equivalent is required. MBA, J. D. degree is preferred. CFP is preferred. 7+ years of successful sales/client service experience in trust administration. Demonstrates specific knowledge of trust administration and fiduciary law. Thorough understanding of federal and state tax requirements and issues. Excellent client relations. Previous experience in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication in the areas of interpersonal negotiations and presentation skills. Uses effective problem solving and analytical skills.
