SVP, Chief Compliance Officer Duties: Development, administration, and continuously monitor a program that ensured the institutions compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules governing operations and product offerings. Participates in internal and external audits conducted on all functions of the institution, and address or respond to any findings in a timely and satisfactory manner, as required. Complete risk assessments required by federal regulatory guidelines and industry best practices. Work with senior management in the development of new products and/or delivery systems, or modify existing ones, to identify and compliance related issues or new compliance requirements. Assist the institutions General Counsel in serving as the institutions representative to the Federal and State Regulators with respect to the institutions compliance, including the management of all regulatory compliance examinations. Prepare internal components for examinations, conduct post examination follow-up, and prepare responses while overseeing corrective actions. Collaborate across the institution and its affiliate entities extensively in the pursuit of world class compliance. Administer the institutions annual education program covering the appropriate topics and ensuring that employees are compliant with educational/training requirements. Develop, implement, and educate stakeholders on the compliance program. Serve as an in-house expert to provide compliance advice and guidance to all staff, addressing any compliance as well as safety and soundness questions. Oversee all compliance related communication and ensure such communication is comprehensive, accessible, current and appropriate for all employees. Develop, Maintain, and Review Annually, the institutions Privacy Policies and Procedures designed to maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Oversee the distribution and notification of privacy notices to the institutions customers and clients. Serves as the point of contact for all privacy concerns, and investigates any allegations of privacy violations. Maintains the institutions records for privacy compliance. Participates and maintains relationships with community based, charitable, and non-profit organizations. Continuously evaluate the institutions CRA mission and ensure it is available to the public upon request. Monitor the banks CRA performance; suggest ways to improve performance. Establish, evaluate, and maintain CRA guidelines to ensure satisfactory performance under the assessment factors of the regulations. Conduct or oversee all necessary training to assure bank compliance with CRA policies and regulations. Assist with various other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications: A J.D. degree or significant experience with Bank regulatory and legal processes. 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility within banking and financial compliance, required. Strong language and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across multiple levels, foster open communication, and active listening with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills required to gather and evaluate relevant compliance related metrics and data. Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal required supervision. Advanced understanding of banking and brokerage functions. The ability to prioritize and organize institutional auditing functions in order to cover all aspects regulatory guidelines and provide appropriate responses and solutions to any concerns or deficiencies. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Fair Lending and Responsible Banking Laws as well as government regulations surrounding the banking and financial industry. Strong understanding of the Federal Reserve and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) examination standards and general regulatory issuance. The ability to understand and implement best practice knowledge to with regard to government regulations and laws.
