Pharmaceutical And Life Sciences Supply Chain Manager The candidate will join Supply Chain team that provides consulting services in the area of strategy and tactician of supply chain improvement, advising companies in some of the following areas: inventory management, purchased services and supply utilization -operational review of materials management; acquisition price savings; negotiating contracts; redesigning logistical methodology from suppliers and clients;- improving overall efficiency and effectiveness of purchasing departments; implementing automated supply delivery -strategizing on planning and organizing material management operations; policy and procedures on supply management initiatives assessment and implementation of Operating Room resource initiatives. The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in Accounting provided all of the minimum requirements are met for CPA licensure per respective state regulations. Certification(s) Required: CPA or commitment to pass CPA exam before being promoted to Manager and thereafter obtain CPA licensure, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar. Should have 3+ years of experience. Should have demonstrated experience identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues. Must have demonstrated experience as a team leader: creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members; providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues. Knowledge Preferred: Considerable knowledge of a variety of state and local tax laws, including multi-state income tax planning, compliance, preparing returns, income tax accounting, controversies, restructuring, due diligence and audit defense. Skills Preferred: Considerable technical skills, including FAS 109, MS Excel modeling, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies, tax base rules, tax research, compliance and consulting as it relates to multi-state jurisdictions.
