Hearing Representative Duties: Provide representation for employer clients during unemployment compensation hearings. Analyze individual case information by reviewing data accessed through the PC, document images or through discussion with client contacts. Discuss strengths and weaknesses on individual unemployment compensation cases with client contacts. Determine how known and new facts impact a case and be able to act on the information during the hearing process via cross-examination, raising an objection, etc. Prepare client witnesses for the unemployment hearing proceedings. Represent clients at in-person and telephone unemployment hearings. Receive and initiate timely calls from clients. Document details of client calls while on the phone for future review. Excellent customer service to clients and state agencies. Act in a courteous and professional manner in performing job functions.

Qualification: Bachelor's, J.D. Degree or unemployment hearings experience preferred. Should have Unemployment hearings experience. Experience in dealing with dated materials, strict time limits and/or working in a fast-paced environment is needed. Must have understanding of PC functions, including Windows-based applications. Must have extensive knowledge of unemployment regulations and hearing procedures. Must have ability to listen, comprehend and actively participate in telephone and in person conversations. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have ability to use the keyboard to input, access, view and interpret data on a PC. Must have knowledge in unemployment compensation regulations and proceedings.
