Project Management - Expert I Duties: Analysis and design of objectives and events, plan the work according to the objectives, and assess and control risk for the project. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Partner with internal project liaisons to estimate resources, allocate resources, and organize the work. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Partner with internal project liaisons to acquire human and material resources, assign tasks, directs activities, and control project execution. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Track and report progress (management information system), analyze the results based on the facts achieved, define the products of the project, and forecast future trends in the project. Develop best practice and tools for project execution and management Quality management, issues management, and facilitates issue-resolution. Document project governance and protocols for escalations. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas. Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Create and maintain communications for governing bodies and interested parties. Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Partner with internal project liaisons to project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Identify, manage, and control changes; project closure (and project debrief) and communicate to stakeholders.

Qualifications: A university/college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD or JD is desirable. 12+ years relevant experience is required. Where a higher level degree is required, years of experience required may be less. Specific certifications are often required. PMP or Black Belt preferred. Knowledge of Project Management Software, including SharePoint, Microsoft Visio, and / or Microsoft Project.
