Corporate Functions/Legal: Litigation and Dispute Management Counsel Senior Manager Candidate will be responsible for handling employment-related litigation, disputes, government investigations, internal investigations, and compliance incidents across North America. Analyzing and assessing the Company's potential exposure. Defining and executing strategy to minimize adverse legal, financial and reputational risk to the company. Collaborating with peers in other functional areas to manage reputational and other risks which could affect the broader organization arising from employment disputes and litigation. Providing clear reporting and advice on employment litigation matters to internal stakeholders including at senior management level. Negotiating with third-parties. Advising on implementation of remedial measures as necessary, including discipline, counseling and training. Supporting insurance notifications and internal reporting obligations. Helping maintain and implement e-discovery and data preservation activities and underlying processes and procedures in connection with employment litigation, disputes and subpoenas. Managing and supervising outside counsel day-to-day on employment litigation, including updates, budgets and work plans. Working with the Employment Law team and others to address, anticipate and shape employment-related issues, positions and policies at the country or operational group level where necessary. Manage employment law projects in North America. Develop policies, guidelines, training, or other knowledge capital relating to employment law issues. Candidate should have a Law Degree and current State Bar license. 8+ years experience in law firm and/or in-house employment litigation counsel, including courtroom experience is required. Strong experience handling employment law investigations is preferred. In-depth knowledge of employment law, including in areas of employment discrimination, FLSA issues, and other related areas is desired. Strong litigation skills, involving EEOC charges, single-plaintiff and class action employment litigation are preferred. Should be skilled at conducting internal investigations relating to North American employment laws.
