Manager, Labor Relations Candidate will execute labor relations strategy in the field at the direction of the Region Labor Relations Director. Provide support to the Region leadership and the labor function generally in the areas of contract negotiation, contract administration and positive employee relations activities. Negotiate contracts, assist in contract administration issues such as grievance tracking/processing, support the company's positive employee relations efforts, project manage and execute and perform other duties as assigned. Provide essential bench strength for the labor function and serves as a training role for future Labor Relations Director roles. Lead executing labor strategy and all field activities within the defined Region. Execute contract preparation and act in the capacity of lead negotiator or second chair in negotiation of select labor contracts as assigned. Lead or partner with company lead on communication campaigns as necessary build credibility with employees, maintain good morale amongst employees, gain trust of management. Provide coaching and counseling support to Regional leadership and local management in the labor relations area. Execute effective training tools and conduct training for employees and managers in labor relations area. Work closely with Region Labor Relations Director to proactively respond to labor issues, management/labor councils, mediations and arbitrations. Assist in execution of strike contingency planning processes and tools pre-planning, logistics, personnel pool, accounting and payroll, overall communication during work stoppage. Will be responsible for managing grievances using established grievance processes within the Region with LRC support. Assist in preparing for arbitration and other administrative agency proceedings in the Region as needed. Develop strong working knowledge.

Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. J.D. degree and/or a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Labor/Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business, Political Science, or Economics fields is preferred. 3+ years of relevant labor relations or human resources experience; Or relevant course study at accredited and recognized academic institution is essential. Experience in human resources, labor negotiations, contract administration and/or project management is required.
