Trust Relationship Manager Duties: Provide support to a team of Wealth Planners selling trust and other fiduciary structures (trusts and investment holding vehicles) and solutions to ultra high net worth clients of Bank and ancillary business channels. Liaise with Finance and provide regional business development analyses/reports (e.g. client penetration, product penetration, banker utilization, etc.) for the purposes of identifying potential prospects. Manage the team pipeline which includes the identification of prospects, status updates and reporting. Review new business reports for accuracy and tracking metrics for Scorecard input. Handle non-complex sales (previously vetted by a Wealth Planner). Attend client meetings as required to facilitate on-boarding of new business (e.g. document signing, collection and verification of IDs and addresses etc.). Pre-screen new business packages for completeness of documentation and any required approvals from control partners in Risk, Tax and / or Legal; follow-up with Bankers/Wealth Planners for outstanding documents, etc. Liaise with the International New Business team as required to ensure the seamless and efficient acceptance and set-up of new business and the assignment of the relationship to the Trust Center for ongoing administration. Assist the Trust Centers with the resolution of trust administration issues for existing clients. Manage the annual client structure review process for the regional team including the assignment of relationships, tracking of completion, and providing any necessary reporting. Handle Banker inquiries as required. Project management of regional initiatives (e.g. any product conversions). Maintain a general understanding of all products related to Wealth Planning specialty. Coordinate the launch of new products for the region as may be required. Understand and keep abreast of changes in legislation in order to ascertain how such laws affect tax efficient fiduciary structures established for our clients; be informed and able to discuss current and historical legal/tax environment in the relevant countries within the region.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree (law degree preferable); STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Professionals) qualifications are an asset. Must have 5-7 years trust and fiduciary industry experience. Excellent knowledge of Trust products and services an asset. Ability to identify potential risk issues and solutions and to communicate these effectively to team colleagues. Relationship management skills including the ability to work with partners remotely. Excellent time management, organizational and administrative skills. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Strong oral and written skills. Multilingual Spanish / English language skills required.
