Deputy Corporate Compliance Director The candidate will be critical support role for the Corporate Compliance Officer, whose primary duty is to see that the company is run in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and to avoid unethical or illegal behavior throughout. The Compliance Program includes an operational audit function to monitor and correct the company s compliance with both internal policies and contractual regulatory requirements, a government compliance function, records management, risk management, as well as interaction with the transactional compliance functions in Federal Administrative Services Team (FAST) and government cost accounting. Must be able to address issues in these functional areas in conjunction with and in the absence of the Corporate Compliance Officer. More specific duties include: Able to provide oversight of the end-to-end corporate compliance process. This includes reviewing, planning, and implementing initiatives and training related to compliance, as well as, monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of regulatory compliance with the laws, and regulations of both governing bodies and third party agencies. Interacts with each of the different departments and business units and helps plan the execution of regulatory and contract compliance audits. Develops and implements the HDR Compliance Program to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, terms and conditions of government contracts, and company and industry ethical standards. Provides input into HDR Compliance Program Policies and Procedures. Undertakes activities necessary to adhere to the Compliance Program in coordination with HDR Legal, FAST, Central/Overhead Purchasing, Internal Audit, and Human Resources departments, HDR Environmental, Health and Safety personnel, Quality Management System (QMS) personnel, and subsidiary leadership and management teams. Reports directly to company's CCO regarding Compliance Program-related matters. Remains current on relevant regulatory materials, publications, web sites, and guidance issued by federal and state government agencies and provides interpretation and application to Federal leads on required changes for compliance.

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree. Master s or Juris Doctorate preferred. Should have 15+ years of experience managing compliance programs for a large multidisciplinary company. Global experience preferred. Must have extensive working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Demonstrated experience working in a team-oriented culture and proven ability to build strong professional relationships with all levels of management is needed. Should be highly knowledgeable in the areas of: Government business systems; Internal management controls; Ethics and compliance; Audit, monitoring and corrective action programs; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS); Complex transaction negotiation and management; Risk management; Contract administration.
