Senior Legal Counsel Duties: Lead and supervise a team of Alliance lawyers, handle routine escalations related to Alliance, Resale and Teaming Agreements. Conduct performance reviews and provide required coaching and development assistance. Responsible for and provide assistance and expertise on strategic and major alliances (including resale relationships), assisting Legal Professionals to understand the arrangements that exist with key alliance partners and how to implement these and where appropriate, providing oversight or joint review in the case of strategic cross-organization initiatives; Draft and negotiate agreements and handle other matters that are generated by the Alliances & Resale organization, taking into account the relevant regulatory landscape, and compliant with policies. Develop and coordinate with other members of the Offerings & Alliance Support Team the development and deployment of (i) shared knowledge around growth engine and market leader alliances & resale, (ii) tools, templates, guidance, etc., for alliances/resale generally and (iii) contract repository being implemented by the Alliance & GP Delivery Team; Provide support to Legal Professionals (a) with agreements they are working on (or other matters) involving Alliances & Resale, and (b) for transactions they are working on which leverage agreements negotiated by the Alliance & GP Delivery Team (e.g., subcontractor agreements with a Cross-OG Alliance partner for cross-Operating Group projects);Assist in the management of the legal budget and spend for the Alliance & GP Delivery Team; Supports the Global Compliance strategy and the related Global Compliance programs implementation, in particular, working with the Global Compliance team. As per the applicable Compliance Responsibility Matrix that describes the responsibilities of the Compliance stakeholders of the Legal group: help determine the alliances and delivery conditions dimension and feasibility of compliance programs; where required or justified by an alliance or some delivery terms, suggest new policies and contribute to policy design and implementation among the Legal Contracting Team and business team; advocate Compliance programs with the alliances and Growth Platform delivery leadership. Reports to: Director of Legal Services, Alliance & Growth Platform Support. Senior Managers and Managers.

Qualifications: J.D. Degree or equivalent Law Degree required. 9+ years of experience as an attorney including complex transactional experience. 5+ years of experience with general management of other legal professionals. Preferred: Solid experience in complex transactions such as alliances, joint ventures, acquisitions. Deep expertise in basic contracting issues required and knowledge of intellectual property very helpful. Good business acumen, knowledge of business strategy (or similar business strategy at another company if experienced hire). Good judgment, an ability to prioritize and make decisions, and spot risks before they materialize; ability to work with and manage resources remotely. Strong writing and negotiation skills. Good executive presence and the ability to work effectively with the senior business leaders at Accenture, partners from law firms. Strong leadership and management skills. Strong communication skills.
