North Carolina - Transaction Advisory Services Senior - Transaction Tax

Charlotte NC Transaction Advisory Services Senior - Transaction Tax - M&A
The candidate will serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions that private equity and strategic corporate entities pursue. Will perform due diligence projects to provide a thorough review of corporate tax returns and financials needed to evaluate and calculate potential tax exposures. Review, assess, and advise clients regarding the tax computations reflected in their financial models, and assist clients in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tax data in their financial projections for the transaction.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related work experience OR a Graduate degree and 1-2 years of related work experience. An accounting major is preferred OR a Master's degree in accounting, MST or J.D./LL.M. would be preferred. Certification as a CPA, Enrolled Agent or Attorney preferred. The candidate will work on assignment purely business and oriented towards processes, registration and consortium management. Will provide business-oriented, practical solutions for identified or potential environmental issues impacting clients. Provide technical direction on EH&S compliance, EH&S management system, and safety-related compliance projects. Develop EH&S compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports. Design and implement EH&S management systems and programs including analysis of processes, organization and IT systems necessary for compliance. Reengineer EH&S and Life cycle process development and reporting. Responsible for data collection and use of IT systems integration for global blueprints roll-outs. Prepare documentation associated with technical analyses and research.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree. Degree in chemical engineering, bio-engineering or environmental science is desired. Legal experience or Law degree would be preferred. Must have 5+ years of Environment Health and Safety and Regulatory experience within a corporate environment. Should also have 3+ years of EH&S ERP Implementation experience. EH&S consulting experience is preferred. Experience in OSHA, REACh, CLP/GHS, and/or Environmental specific IT Tools is desired. Experience with change management and organizational impacts of EH&S and risk to organizations is preferred. Must be open to 80-100% travel.
