Tennessee - Federal Tax Senior Staff

Brentwood TN Federal Tax Senior Staff
The candidate will assist on large projects. Tax consulting includes performing tax research and working with clients on tax matters as well as planning and implementing special projects. Responsible for the compliance function on clients including preparation and technical review of corporate, partnership and personal income tax returns. Work will include preparation and review of client tax calculations and returns, management of client tax relationships and supervising and developing staff. Assist with implementation of tax planning and tax savings strategies. Research and consult on tax matters. Manage and develop staff in a highly interactive team environment.

The candidate should have a B.S. degree in Accounting. A Master's in Taxation or LL.M. is a plus. CPA or eligibility to sit for CPA is needed. Must have 3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate/public blend. Should have consolidated C-Corp, FAS 109, FIN 48, partnership, S-Corp, Individual and/or multi-state experience. Experience with tax technology is a plus. Legal 3 - 5 Full-time 2013-01-27

Must have 2 years of public tax experience with practical experience in the implementation of tax consulting projects. Strong project management skills and federal tax technical skills are required.
