NJ Supreme Court Broadens Scope for In-House Counsel
In-house Counsel who have limited licenses to practice in New Jersey will be able to actually represent officers, employees, and directors under new rule changes by the New Jersey Supreme Court. More changes may come in the future.

ACC's Annual Meeting Scheduled for October
The Association of Corporate Counsel Annual Meeting will be held in Seattle, Washington on October 19th through 22nd of this year. The ACC is one of the premier organizations for corporate counsel, and this meeting offers over 100 CLE credits.

General Counsels Paid Lucrative Bonuses
Corporate Counsel's 2008 GC compensation survey shows that top counsel at Fortune 500 firms were compensated quite well, mostly thanks to lucrative bonuses that jumped 17% this past year to $1.1 million on average. That's double the average salary.
