SEC Settles with Former Apple GC Nancy Heinen, former general counsel at Apple, Inc., has settled with the SEC over alleged backdating options issues. Heinen will pay $2.2 million to the SEC and not serve for five years as an officer of any company, while not admitting fault in any way. General Counsel and Litigation Team Join Dewey & LeBoeuf Barbara Caulfield and three litigation attorneys from the company Affymetrix have resigned and joined Dewey & LeBoeuf. Affymetrix has hired the group of attorneys to handle its litigation. Entertainment Software Association Names New GC The US-based video games group Entertainment Software Association has named Kenneth Doroshow as its new general counsel. Doroshow was former senior counsel to the US Department of Justice. |
