Facebook, the social networking giant, has selected Ted Ullyot as their first ever general counsel. Ullyot is currently a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, and formerly served as Associate Counsel to the President under President Bush.

Tidewater Inc Promotes New GC
Tidewater Inc, a New Orleans company, has promoted Bruce D. Lundstrom to executive vice president, general counsel, and secretary.

Xunlight Corp Names New Counsel
Xunlight Corporation, a Toledo, Ohio, firm that develops solar modules, has named W. Granger Souder Jr. as vice president and general counsel. Souder joins the company from his previous position at Sky Financial Group, where he was also GC.
