Act as subject matter expert for privacy laws and regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Gramm- Leach- Bliley Act (GLBA), the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and various State privacy regulations. Identify business and compliance risks; provide support and advice to mitigate risks and ensure appropriate reporting. Support the development of tools to enable the business to embed appropriate data privacy protections into new and existing projects and offerings. Support the data privacy training and awareness program. Support efforts to implement and enhance Aons privacy program. Perform privacy program oversight where needed, including performing private impact assessments. Draft privacy statements, privacy notices, website disclosures, and/or mobile disclosures. Collaborate with Legal, HR, Procurement, and other senior leaders on privacy-related matters. Collaborate with the North America Privacy Team staff, including both attorney and non-attorney contributors. Must have J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school, bar admission in good standing. Should have 5-7 years of strong privacy law experience in a law firm or in-house legal position.
