Privacy Compliance Legal Counsel The candidate will provide expert, calibrated, helpful privacy-related legal advice to the companys team across US and global offices. Advise the Product and Data Analytics teams on global privacy legal issues, helping to design and implement products that incorporate privacy by design. Support growth of new business opportunities by analysing privacy implications of new products and services and providing guidance on minimizing privacy compliance risk, and as needed, conduct risk assessments related thereto. Develop guidelines, training and tools to support accountability and compliance across the organization.

The candidate should have Juris Doctor degree or LLM from an accredited law school. (In good standing with the State Bar with no disciplinary record.). Licensed to practice law in the EU. Extensive experience in a similar role including in a global corporate legal department, with substantial focus on consumer and employee privacy legal and compliance issues. CIPP/E strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal and team-building skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and to juggle multiple tasks. Ability to influence beyond authority in a complex and matrixed organization. Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Strong speaking, writing and negotiating skills and good attention to detail.
