Global Lead Counsel for Employment The candidate will serve as company's chief counsel for employment matters on a global level. Hold ultimate responsibility for Legal aspects of employment matters; work with HR leadership on risk assessment, strategy and programmatic initiatives; update HR partners on Employment Law best practices, changes and trends; counsel company leadership on employment issues and related enterprise risks; assist Management in assessing, clarifying and balancing risk and reward and mitigating risk to protect the company's assets and profitability; design and build user-friendly and common sense compliance processes and tools, such as standards, templates, checklists and escalation guidelines, along with guidance and training and manage external counsel. Foster full and consistent collaboration with majority owner Accenture's Legal group. The candidate should have 12+ years' experience practicing Employment Law in law firm. Solid experience working with geographically-dispersed groups live and virtually needed. Experience leading cross-functional teams on projects required. Employment litigation experience, including first-chair Trial experience essential. Experience leading internal investigations and managing outcomes, both individual and programmatic required. Excellent academic credentials needed.
