Legal Counsel - Labor And Employment

Wilsonville OR Legal Counsel - Labor and Employment The Candidate will be responsible to provide legal support for all Labor/Employment needs of a global company. Prepare legal documents, including separation agreements, policies, incentive plans, legal memos, responses to charges of discrimination, and employment agreements. Provide counsel to human resources and executive management on Labor/Employment matters, including employee relations, recruiting and hiring, harassment and discrimination, policies, leaves of absence, disability accommodations, government audits, reductions inforce, wage and hour matters, and non-competition agreements. Proactively monitor and advise business clients on labor and employment laws across the U.S. and globally. Minimal oversight of litigation and outside counsel.

The candidate should have a law degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in location hired or licensed in any state with ability to practice as an in-house attorney in the location hired and attorney with 5-10 years of experience practicing labor and employment law and have international experience required, preferably in Europe; Prior in-house experience preferred. Report to head of labor and employment law group for Siemens PLM Software. Mentor Graphics operates as part of the Siemens PLM Software business. Grants Pass OR Assistant General Counsel - Real Estate The candidate will draft, review and negotiate commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, CC&R documents, declarations, access agreements, easement agreements, and related documents for development. Will draft, review and negotiate construction documents including master service agreements, construction contracts, statements of work, lien releases, and related document for the construction process. Work closely with site selection staff to ensure agreements reflect business goals, while simultaneously protecting the company s financial/legal interest, and serve as liaison with real estate department with respect to all leasing matters such as letters of intent, leases, amendments, letter agreements, and interpretation of leases. Will have an opportunity to develop strong partnerships that include extensive communications and interactions with principals, brokers and other internal business unit contacts.
