The candidate will provide leadership in timely and quality delivery of services to assist the expectations of clients. Will also be responsible for the development and motivation of PCS engagement staff and provide the staff with leadership, counseling and career guidance. The candidate will report directly to the national leader of the ITqS practice. The focus of the ITqS group is to assist companies in determining, reporting and managing their US tax attributes using quantitative analysis and modeling related to their international operations. Work with the National ITqS Leader, others in the National ITqS group and local office teams in the design and execution of complex ITqS projects with significant clients of the firm. Projects will include assisting clients with US international information reporting, computing US tax attributes related to international operations, modeling the impact of proposed US international tax legislation, and advising clients on improvements to their tax provision process. Assist in the development of the ITqS practice including the development and implementation of quantitative tools and processes. Manager - Direct Tax - Vertex, Sabrix Implemention
The candidate will manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors. Will lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; and manage engagement risk. Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop 'thought-ware' and 'point-of-view' documents; participate in public speaking events; and get published in industry periodicals. Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business related field. Advanced degree such as MST, J.D. or LL.M. preferred. CPA a plus. Must have 5+ years of experience with: corporate, multistate, indirect or value-added tax (income tax compliance, FAS109, reporting, transaction tax compliance, etc.). Experience with a Big 4 firm, large corporate tax department of a multinational company, or large ERP integration is preferred. Strong interest in and aptitude for technology (Vertex, Sabrix etc.) needed. Experience with tax technology applications required (Vertex, Sabrix, Taxware, or Oracle Enterprise Business Tax). Experience in ERP system implementations preferred. Should have ability for heavy travel.

Tax Senior Manager - International Tax Quantitative Services Senior Manager
The candidate will report directly to the national leader of the ITqS practice. The focus of the ITqS group is to assist companies in determining, reporting and managing their US tax attributes using quantitative analysis and modeling related to their international operations. Work with the National ITqS Leader, others in the National ITqS group and local office teams in the design and execution of complex ITqS projects with significant clients of the firm. Projects will include assisting clients with US international information reporting, computing US tax attributes related to international operations, modeling the impact of proposed US international tax legislation, and advising clients on improvements to their tax provision process. Assist in the development of the ITqS practice including the development and implementation of quantitative tools and processes. Provide thought leadership by drafting Tax Alerts and articles on ITqS technical developments for internal and external publication and teaching internal training courses on international taxation.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 5 years of related work experience OR a Graduate degree in law or tax and 4 years of related work experience. Must have 3+ years of relevant tax experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm or equivalent experience in business or industry. CPA certification is needed. Should have experience in modeling quantitative attributes around foreign tax credits.
