Manhattan NY Litigation Attorney Responsibilities: Serve as a lead member of a litigation team to provide coverage for UtiliSave, UtiliSave clients and the Steifman Law Firm (imminently to be formed) legal activity. Provide counsel and legal and litigation advice to the CEO, legal team and auditing team, regarding general energy law issues, and matters involving public utilities. Reports directly to the CEO. Maintain relationships with outside counsel and stay informed of all matters pertaining to ongoing related litigation in state offices (PSC, FERC and others) as well as relevant administrative courts. Provide litigation coverage relating to actions with governmental agencies such as City Water Board and various state Public Service Commissions (PSC). Manage claims with the Public Service Commission and similar regulatory bodies in other states from inception to final disposition of claims. Experience in Qui-Tam and class action lawsuits. Ability to act with a business perspective, not just legal. Business savvy, financial acumen, and risk sensitivity required. Litigation Attorney In-Counsel The candidate will work as litigation and In-counsel. Duties include: helping the ownership group with daily operations, Advising on internal legal matters in regards to growing the business, corporate governance, daily corporate operations, and litigation. At least 50% of the job would be handling litigation matters for us in both state and federal court. The other 50% a job would be more of an in-house counsel role. Must be licensed in Illinois and be able to practice in both state and federal court. Must have litigation experience.

Counsel - Patent Litigation The candidate will provide counsel to internal clients on patent litigation matters and other issues such as licensing disputes. Key Responsibilities: Managing AbbVie s U.S. and international patent litigation matters, driving strategy with outside counsel and partnering with key internal clients; Participating in key litigation proceedings, including depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and trials. Providing expert counsel on all patent litigation and related issues; Advising senior management on a broad range of key global patent litigation issues; Negotiating and drafting settlement agreements. Depending on the successful candidate s experience, this position will be hired at a Sr. Counsel or Counsel level. A Juris Doctorate and admission to practice in at least one state required. Must have 7+ years of major law firm and/or in-house patent litigation experience. Should have excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills, including the ability to convey and discuss intellectual property issues in understandable terms. Should have a high degree of self-sufficiency and independent judgment, but you will operate as part of a collaborative team of attorneys, paralegals and support staff, all working closely to protect AbbVie s interests. Preference will be given to who have significant Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering experience.

Senior Counsel- Litigation Duties: Under the direction from the Deputy General Manager-Legal Affairs, supervises and manages the activities of the Legal Department. Prepares legal opinions for senior management and the Board of Trustees. Provides oversight and legal counsel on the administration of RTA s Self-Insured Workers Compensation program. Coordinates with other sections of the Legal Affairs Division as needed. Monitor federal, state, and local legislation affecting RTA. This position will promote a safe and secure atmosphere, follow all safety and security rules and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must have a JD degree and a license to practice law in the State of Ohio. Must have 8 years of experience analyzing, investigating, and litigating significant and sensitive civil cases, including trials and appeals. Must have 5+ years of experience supervising professional employees and others, preferably legal staff.
