Senior IP Counsel, Litigation

Princeton NJ Senior IP Counsel, Litigation Duties: will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement litigation strategies to advance the Company's interests, whether through successful litigation or through innovative settlement strategies. Will also ensure that the Global IP team (in particular the Global Patent Attorneys) supports the development of products in a manner that optimizes the launch of those products in the US. Experience with a medical device, biotechnology, pharmaceutical or diagnostics company, strongly preferred. Broad knowledge of local, state and federal civil procedures, discovery, filing deadlines, legal techniques and basic concepts of American jurisprudence. Broad knowledge of commercial disputes, with experience in setting case strategy, managing discovery process and managing mediation/arbitration and trials, with a focus on contract, product liability, fair competition, labor and employment matters.
