Real Estate Counsel

Culver City CA Real Estate Counsel The candidate's duties will include: To manage, coordinate, and advise on the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and leasing matters of Firm's real estate portfolio. Therefore, a solid grasp of real estate business and financial principles is important, in addition to an understanding of the manner in which such items are incorporated into various transactions. Will draft, interpret and negotiate letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, consulting agreements, management agreements, service agreements, vendor and construction contacts and other ancillary real estate documents. Will directly report to the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel and will work closely with outside counsel on a range of real estate transactions.

The candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience working on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. Must have ability to work independently as well as with members of senior management. Must be a member in good standing of the bar. Should have a meaningful experience in acquisitions, financings, construction, and/or leasing matters as well as general knowledge of real estate principles.

Real Estate Counsel

Glendale CA Real Estate Counsel The candidate will work with the real estate acquisition, development, property management, construction, and commercial leasing teams, providing legal analysis, advice, transaction leadership and support. Managing on-going and non-crisis environmental matters affecting the company. Assisting in-house clients in resolving disputes with adverse parties (public agencies, customers, vendors, etc.) by analyzing the underlying facts, identifying resolution options, negotiating with adverse parties, and documenting resolution of the dispute, as needed. Managing potential and actual takings of the company's property interests by public agencies. Negotiating with agencies to reduce the impact of takings on properties and increase the compensation received with respect to any interests actually taken.
