Oklahoma - Tax Advisor

Oklahoma City OK Tax Advisor
The candidate will work with businesses to optimize tax positions and support commercial transactions. Will work with government relations to shape and monitor an effective tax policy strategy to promote the company's business strategy. Work closely with the company's business segments and functional groups to help develop and implement a tax planning risk-based strategy that aligns with the business initiatives and optimizes the company's tax position. Effectively integrate with the compliance and planning groups in Tax. Support all functional areas of tax including provision, audit and compliance through technical and strategic guidance and advisory. Supervise and train staff.

The candidate should have a Doctoral degree in Tax. CPA or J.D. degree required. An LL.M. in taxation would be preferred. Must have 5-8 years of related work experience with 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience. Should have experience with developing and implementing federal and state tax planning strategies and techniques. Experience supervising staff is required. Must have knowledge of federal and multi-state tax concepts. Legal 5 - 8 Full-time 2013-01-07
