Senior Employment Counsel

New York City NY Senior Employment Counsel The candidate will provide in-house legal counsel on labor and employment related matters, which may include, but not limited to, human resources issues, wage and hour law, workers compensation, unemployment and other state agency claims, labor relations, employee benefits, employment agreements and policy related issues, FMLA matters, employment related litigation and generally assists the AGC of Employment and Human Resources Department. Brooklyn NY Employment Counsel The candidate will provide practical, business-minded advice on various sensitive employee situations to mitigate the company's risk. Be the primary legal point person to People team. Draft and maintain employee handbook and other relevant policies and processes, form offer letters and other employee-related agreements. Work with People and Operations teams to establish processes, standards and form documentation for employee performance management. New York City NY Employment Law Group Attorney, Vice President Responsibilities: The Employment Law Group, Vice President, Attorney will focus on employment law matters. This Vice President position reports to the Assistant General Counsel, Employment Law Group manager. Advice and counsel to HR professionals and management on a broad range of employment issues, including: recruiting, hiring, employee relations, discipline and termination, internal investigations (including data analysis), reductions-in-force, leaves of absence, disability accommodations, wage and hour compliance, employee benefits (experience with ERISA and non-ERISA benefits health & welfare and retirement plans preferred), compensation, regulatory change and compliance including emerging COVID regulation.
