Senior Counsel - Labor And Employment

New York City NY Senior Counsel - Labor and Employment The candidate will provide labor and employment law advice and counsel in support of the Companys operations globally. Will provide advice on full range of employment law issues, including hiring, discipline, termination, compensation and benefits. Draft employment contracts, separation agreements and other employment documentation relating to employee population, some based outside of the United States. Review and provide guidance on drafting and development of HR policies and procedures globally. Provide support to maintain, determine and/or remediate legal compliance issues impacting the companys global operations from a total employment law, compensation and benefits perspective. Defend, supervise and manage employment related claims and litigation, including managing outside counsel, responding to administrative charges, complaints, attorneys letters, settlement demands and claims globally. Negotiate appropriate resolutions to claims and other pending matters. Must have Juris Doctorate degree and New York bar membership. 7-8 years of relevant labor and employment experience required. Associate General Counsel, Litigation, Employment & Investigations

New York City NY Associate General Counsel, Litigation, Employment and Investigations The candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a variety of litigation and pre-litigation matters, as well as providing day-to-day legal advice to a variety of business units within the company. Will be running internal fact investigation. Developing case strategy in partnership with business units and driving cost-effective resolution of litigation disputes. Managing outside counsel. Legal research and writing for matters where outside counsel is deemed unnecessary (e.g., responses to demand letters, position statements, etc.). Reviewing and approving pleadings and motions and attending court hearings and depositions. Coordinating discovery, including collection and production of materials. Providing legal advice to business functions on a wide variety of pre-litigation issues arising from business-as-usual activities. Keeping management and business units apprised of litigation developments and strategy. Must have Juris Doctorate degree from ABA accredited law school and admitted to relevant state Bar. 12+ years full-time employment in top-tier law firm or in-house environment is preferred. New York City NY In-house Counsel, Employment Law The candidate will advise management, Human Resources, and other personnel regarding employment law issues, including performance management and discipline, discrimination, harassment and other employment-related complaints, employment policies, leaves of absence and accommodation requests, and employment-related aspects of corporate transactions. Will oversee, conduct, and provide counsel on internal investigations of employment-related and other types of claims. Advise EBG regarding the negotiation of disputes, mediation and litigation of employment contract and employment law-related claims. Draft/manage employment and executive contracts, as well as employee incentive plans. Monitor federal, state, and local legal developments and advise on compliance with same. Assist in the implementation of effective document management and compliance processes. Create and deliver management and employee training programs. Support the legal department s overall goal of increasing organizational efficiency and achievement of business objectives in a manner that minimizes legal risk. Occasional domestic travel may be required.

The candidate should have a J.D. degree and be a member of the New York State Bar or Florida State Bar in good standing, or willingness and qualification to be Registered In-House Counsel, if applicable. Must have 3-5 years of experience at a top law firm and/or in-house legal department with experience advising large corporations on employment-related issues and conducting investigations related to employment-based discrimination, harassment, and retaliation or employment litigation. Should have demonstrated employment litigation experience. Experience relative to Title VII and harassment investigations, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, including review and evaluation of requests for workplace accommodations is required.
