Ensure that offer letters and employment practices (e.g., final paycheck timing) are in line with state law. Ensure Employee Handbooks/policies are updated any time a new state law changes our current practices/policies. Assist with employment diligence on deals. Assist with organizing and understanding employment landscape of new countries we re expanding into. Liaise with local counsel on employment issues that arise in countries where we re already established. GDPR compliance in employment context.

The candidate must have high degree of initiative and critical-thinking skills in exercising independent judgment in managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, detail-oriented work environment. Excellent troubleshooting, proactive problem resolution and follow-through skills are essential. Excellent writing, analytical and client skills required. Must have 5-7 years experience as an Employment Attorney in a corporate setting. JD Degree required with admission to at least one US State Bar.

Provide additional employment law support for business units in Latin America and for local television stations in certain markets. Qualifications: Law degree. Member in good standing of the State Bar of Florida or member in good standing of another State Bar and registered as in-house counsel. 6+ years of Employment law and Labor Relations experience. Bilingual in Spanish (written and oral). Desired: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with California and international employment, compensation and benefits law a plus. Strong analytical and organizational skills.
