Corporate Counsel, Privacy

San Francisco CA Corporate Counsel, Privacy The candidate to join Legal team. Will support corporate and clinical functions to provide guidance on privacy requirements and best practices for privacy and data governance, including those relating to HIPAA and the CCPA. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel for Technology and Privacy, the Privacy Counsel will work closely with Company Compliance team to manage and evolve the privacy program, and collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to implement effective policies and processes. Will have subject matter expertise for privacy and data matters related to Company consumer, enterprise, and clinical operations, external partnerships, delivering pragmatic guidance targeted to the internal client. Own subject matter expertise in areas of privacy, data use, and data protection laws, including HIPAA, CCPA, and state privacy and data laws where Company operates. Work with supervising counsel and Compliance to develop and implement a comprehensive privacy program; roll-out internal and external privacy policies, notices and processes. Partner with Product, Engineering, Security and other relevant teams to incorporate privacy-by-design principles into standard work. Advise diverse internal teams on legal and regulatory requirements relating to privacy and data protection. Negotiate and draft agreements relating to data rights and use. Cupertino CA Privacy Counsel Duties: Work with a dynamic and experienced team on privacy issues impactings business and products globally. Will work directly with business and engineering teams to design innovative privacy solutions for products as well as across the legal department on Apple activities and regulatory issues. Santa Clara CA Senior Legal Counsel Candidate will be responsible for wide variety of complex commercial agreements and matters for the company on a domestic and international scale. Will: Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret end user license, distributor, reseller, managed service provider, OEM, master subscription, professional services and other types of complex outbound agreements with customers, channel partners, and other third parties in support of the global sales organization. Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a wide variety of complex inbound agreements in compliance with company policies and risk tolerance, including supplier agreements, master services/subscription agreements, statements of work, software licensing agreements, hardware supply chain agreements, and supporting documents relating to the procurement of various goods and services (e.g. IT, property leases, marketing, etc.). Collaborate with product counsel and business groups to provide support and guidance regarding sales programs and go-to-market programmatic issues, including the development and implementation of new programs, offerings, and business initiatives. Create, maintain and contribute to legal templates and playbooks relating to the above areas.
