Privacy Counsel

Boston MA Privacy Counsel Responsibilities: Identifying, creating and implementing best practices around data privacy. Providing global privacy legal advice and privacy input on business projects and initiatives. Providing advice regarding the implications of new laws substantially impacting the Company's business. Supporting cross-company global projects involving personal information. Conducting privacy impact assessments and monitors risk mitigation measures. Drafting and reviewing legal documents including third party vendor agreements to include privacy controls, data transfer agreements, and privacy notices and policies. Identifying privacy training needs of Company personnel; develops and delivers training through various mechanisms including written materials, classroom and staff presentations.

Qualifications: Completion of law school with a J.D. or L.L.B. degree and admission to the bar of at least one jurisdiction in the United States required. Should have 5+ years' experience as a practicing lawyer including 3 years of US and international privacy experience. Must be able to work independently, to build systems and processes, and to collaborate with legal, privacy, and information security colleagues around the world.
