San Francisco CA Immigration Attorney The candidate will provide counseling services to users who need help or advice. A JD degree is required. Should have 2+ years of U.S. business immigration law experience. Experience must include strategic planning and preparation of H-1Bs, H-3s, L s, TN s, B-1s, E-3s, O-1s, PERM labor certifications, EB1-1, EB1-3, EB-2 and marriage based greencard cases. Senior Corporate Counsel, Global Immigration

Seattle WA Senior Corporate Counsel, Global Immigration The candidate will be responsible for counseling the HR teams that perform Amazons immigration and work authorization functions around the world, you will be a subject matter expert advising on an established high-volume immigration program, and unique immigration filings, while developing innovative solutions to complex challenges. Provide daily, practical, legal advice regarding program-level immigration matters; Identify and interpret legal requirements, including new or changed laws, and advise on impact and application to the immigration and work authorization programs; Review, assess, and advise on the current state of the sponsored immigration and work authorization programs, working closely with responsible teams in HR; Provide counsel on short-term work permit/mobility options for projects globally, and various programs regarding citizenship, nationality, and work permit issues in a variety of contexts; Should have J.D. degree from an accredited law school and membership in one state bar; and 10+ years of legal experience in a national or international law firm or as in-house counsel, with demonstrable experience in high-volume, employment-based immigration and I-9 compliance. Should preferably have Global immigration experience, including global work authorization ( Right to Work ) checks, with a large technology client; Sound and practical business judgment, able to think strategically, and desire to establish a trusted advisor relationship with clients; Proven ability to provide technical legal advice in an understandable and actionable format to non-SME clients and the ability to influence across teams; Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently while also contributing to cross-functional teams; The ability to manage outside legal vendors and provide risk-based advice where the law is vague or unclear; Experience exercising good judgment under pressure, and an ability to thrive and be flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; Ability to travel globally; and, Ability to work well with peers and maintain a sense of humor.
