Corporate Compliance Counsel

Corporate Compliance Counsel The candidate will support the Vice President of Compliance and the team responsible for oversight of the company's global anti-corruption compliance program, including program governance, policy development, risk assessment, third party oversight, training, monitoring, compliance counselling, investigations, discipline and management reporting. Will be responsible for reducing and managing the risk of violating laws and regulations applicable to company's businesses. Draft, implement, and update policies and procedures related to all Corporate Compliance activities in North America and globally. Act as a legal compliance counseling primary resource throughout the company and including Regional Compliance Specialists and Country Compliance Managers located outside of the US. Conduct company self-assessment activities to pro-actively review compliance and risk from a legal perspective. Advise and actively collaborate with Internal Audit. Oversee internal audit FCPA assessments. Conduct corporate investigations and provide related legal advice to the company in connection with those investigations. Create and track standard and ad hoc compliance reports and metrics. Bachelor's degree and J.D. degree is required. Must have 8+ years of related job experience in a compliance or related field, such as law enforcement, legal, risk management, or audit. An understanding of international anti-corruption laws, including the FCPA and UK Bribery Act, is necessary. Should be proficient at intermediate/advanced level in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Foreign language skills, including Spanish and Portuguese, are desirable.
