Data Privacy and Compliance Associate-General Counsel The candidate will serve as an attorney with a solid background in public and private sector matters in the area of law, focusing on data privacy and offering compliance for a well regarded ethics and compliance organization. Will provide support across the various market segments of the firm, maintaining responsibility for designing, implementing, and managing the data privacy compliance program to advise and ensure the compliance of company s client offerings. Work on a wide range of complex programmatic matters to provide advice and counsel on relevant laws and regulations.
The candidate should have JD Degree. Should have6+ years of experience in data privacy. Experience in counseling, compliance, and transactions are essential. Experience in compliance matters and interacting with regulators are required. Experience with the provisioning of professional services to the commercial industry is preferred. Experience in a large law firm, corporate law department or public sector is desired. Ability to serve as a business partner to develop practical solutions to challenging problems is needed. Ability to design and implement a comprehensive data privacy compliance program is preferred. Ability to demonstrate judgment and initiative in designing and implementing the most effective solutions are desired. Ability to exhibit legal, drafting, and negotiation expertise and demonstrate a business oriented approach to problem solving is plus.
